The journey so far

Hi, Im Juju — a creative soul who finds joy in the mountains, the ocean, and the thrill of adventure. I live for the feeling of movement—whether I’m surfing, snowboarding, or exploring a new corner of the world. Nature and travel fuel my creativity, and that energy flows into everything I make.

My journey with silver began in 2018, when I was living on a farm in Maui. One day at a local farmers market, I met a silversmith whose work and passion immediately inspired me. Not long after, I enrolled in a silversmithing course at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center, where I learned the basics and fell in love with the craft.

From there, it was a lot of trial, error, and YouTube tutorials as I continued to teach myself and develop my own style. Today, I design and make most of the jewelry I wear and also share selected pieces for sale online.

In early 2025, I began hosting silversmithing workshops, and I’m so glad I did. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone go from being a complete beginner to creating a beautiful stone setting with their own hands. It’s fun, creative, and deeply satisfying—for both the student and the teacher.

When I’m not at my bench, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, swimming, or planning my next adventure. All of these experiences flow back into my work, keeping it grounded, inspired, and always evolving.
